This is an original artwork, inspired by the female form. I used layers of mixed media for this piece and then worked on top of the media whilst observing a female life model. I enjoy making art that explores layers, textures, mood & atmosphere.

I have always enjoyed drawing & painting from the figure. This piece is inspired by the female form. I like building up layers in my work to create interesting surfaces that distort and complement the original drawing. This was based on a life model who was sitting with their back turned.
